This category encompasses both developing CBT or WBT and actually conducting asynchronous courses via the web. I spend a bit more time addressing the web development area of my skill set below so I want to address the process of conducting on line courses.

I have taught asynchronous online courses at the universit level since 2008. I have taught a number of different courses but my favorite courses to teach are Technical Writing and Learning in the Information Age. These classes enable me to use some of my strongest skill sets and to help students develop. I truly enjoy working with students when they are motivated to learn and are engaged in the process. I also enjoy finding ways to motivate students who are frustrated or have a hard time seeing their own value. It is a fulfiling experience.
