The sources for your final paper must be made correctly and formatted properly. I encourage you to use references from the University library because you know that they will be authoritative and reliable. Read the requirements below to understand all of the source requirements for the final.

The final paper must have at least three in-text citations. You must use at least three different sources - an authoritative web site, a journal and a magazine or newspaper. I recommend that you use the in-text citations to support the points that you make or use the sources for information.

 

For example, you may discover pay rates and growth rates from a particular source. If you include the table you will naturally need to reference the material using APA formatting requirements. You may also find it beneficial to include certification requirements for the job you are writing about. In this case it may be beneficial to site the information and include the requisite APA formatting.

 

Remember that you need to have at least three sources. In order to include a source on your reference page you will need to have an in-text citation from that source. In other words, if you read an article from J. Smithey but don't include a citation from the article then you must not include it in your reference page.
